Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to the most common questions about BixBuz.

What is BixBuz?
BixBuz is a European property portal for homes that are for sale. Buyers browse free and contact the seller directly – there is no intermediary and no commission on the sale. Listings are published by the owners or estate agents themselves, and every listing is translated automatically into the visitor's language.
How much does it cost to list a property?
One credit publishes one listing for 30 days for a one-off £13. There is no monthly fee and no hidden cost: you pay for the credit when you publish. The checkout always shows the price in your domain's currency.
How do I publish a property?
Create an account, upload your photos, enter the property details and publish it with one credit. The listing goes live immediately and buyers contact you directly. It takes a few minutes and you do not need an estate agent.
Do I pay a commission when it sells?
No. BixBuz is not an intermediary: it is not part of the sale and takes no commission. You agree the terms directly with the buyer; the usual professional costs (solicitor, notary, taxes) are yours to arrange.
Who sees my listing?
Your listing appears on eight country domains, and every visitor reads it in their own language because the translation is automatic. International buyers can find your property without you writing a multilingual advert.
I have several properties, or I work as an agency. Is there a plan?
Yes. An agency subscription publishes several listings every month: Starter €29 (3 listings), Growth €49 (8 listings) and Pro €99 (20 listings). It renews monthly and you can cancel at any time.
How long does my listing stay online?
One credit publishes a listing for 30 days. If the property does not sell, you can publish it again with a new credit after it expires. You can remove a listing at any time once the property is sold.
Is browsing and contacting free?
Yes, completely free for buyers: you can browse, filter by country, city, price and type, and message the seller at no cost. An account is only needed to send a message.
How do I know the seller and the property are real?
Listings are published by the owners and estate agents themselves, so they are responsible for their content – BixBuz is neither the owner nor a party to the sale. Before any payment or deposit, always ask for the title deed and have the contract checked by a solicitor or notary in the property's country. Report anything suspicious to us, and never transfer money based only on details received by email.
Which language can I use with the seller?
You can write in any supported language: your messages are translated automatically for the other side. For important documents, however, always use a qualified translator or a solicitor – machine translation is meant for everyday communication.
